How to Get to Amanohashidate from Kyoto
Amanohashidate can be reached from Kyoto in about two to two and a half hours by train. Many travelers take a limited express train to Amanohashidate Station via the city of Fukuchiyama.
Although the journey takes some time, the beautiful seaside scenery, calm natural environment, and the unique pine-covered sandbar make Amanohashidate one of the most rewarding coastal destinations to visit in the Kyoto region.
